David Aja. Dibujante de Valladolid, a sus 37 años de edad, ha vuelto a hacerse con dos premios Eisner, los pre
mios más importantes del cómic.

El pasado día 26 de julio recibió el Eisner a mejor portadista por segundo año consecutivo con Hawkeye, exactamente igual que en 2013; y a mejor número junto con el guionista Matt Fraction con Hawkeye #11: Pizza Is My Business.

Aja es un artista muy completo, busca una constante innovación dentro de su dibujo, evitando así la monotonía y creando estilos muy diversos. Lleva muchos años en el negocio, y con cada historia y dibujo se supera a sí mismo. Ha sido ahora, con Hawkeye y su estilo minimalista, muy poco propio de Ojo de Halcón, y junto con los guiones humanistas de Fraction, cuando se está reconociendo toda una carrera. Una carrera, esperemos, que dure mucho tiempo.

A continuación, adjuntaré la lista de los nominados y ganadores (resaltados en negrita) de todas las categorías de estos premios Eisner 2014, entre los que, además de David Aja, destacan varios artistas españoles. Desafortunadamente no lograron alzarse con el premio. Aun así, España está cada vez más presente dentro de este mundo.
